It’s been a challenging year but there’s always a silver lining! COVID-19 made it harder to get our lambs processed due to the processor being backed up. But the pandemic also helped stir up demand for local meats. It’s been a banner year for interest in eating local as more people take interest in eating healthier and are looking for local sources for their food. This year has revealed the weaknesses in our globalized food system and more people are seeing that local farmers, right in their own community, are the answer.
